Festival Guide

All our meetings are run by gifted and dedicated volunteers. There are 2 meetings a day in different venues for each age group, and for the rest of the day there are sports and entertainment provided on site.

Rainbow Tots : under 3 (mornings only)
Fun activities including Messy Play, Sand Craft, Bible stories, prayer, dancing, singing, and lots of free play. A great team of experienced people will look after and care for your child whilst you enjoy the morning meeting.

Shining Stars : 3-5 (mornings only)
Singing, Actions, Bible stories, crafts, games, sandpits and lots of smiles! An experienced team of leaders are committed to seeing your children enjoy and remember every session, growing in the love of God as they welcome Him into their lives. They really will have a memorable time!

PowerKids : 6-11
Fun, games, singing, dancing, and lots of crazy stuff. Your invitation is ready, the red carpet is out, the decorations are up and the fun is ready to start! Come ready to praise God and expect Him to speak to you as we celebrate in style at PowerKids!

Liveset : 12-15
A crammed programme awaits featuring The Rumble, guest speakers, the Liveset band, day trips, evening entertainment and our own cafe. It’s fun, faith-filled and we make a righteous noise in worship. We equip and encourage each other through the Word.

Junction (16+)
A space to relax, have fun with old and new friends and encounter God. Junction mornings involve ‘talky-teachy’ bits and ‘chatty-discussion’ bits. Evenings are about authentic worship and encouraging a deeper relationship with God. We like to be creative in worship, prayer and Bible interaction. Our ‘After Hours Cafe’ is always popular.

Adult Celebration
The meetings will follow the year’s theme. The morning Bible studies offer superb teaching. The evenings have a more celebration feel to them. There will be lots of opportunities to be prayed for and we cannot wait to see you!

Not content with brilliant bible teaching and amazing celebration meetings, we also provide you with thought-provoking, challenging and encouraging seminars on a range of topics. We will post details of our exciting and engaging seminars soon.

Activities & Entertainment

Throughout the day or into the evening, there is always something to do at Elim Festival. We even organise trips to sample the fun in the local area.

Stay with us on site and you could be playing indoor games, tournaments, table tennis, badminton, football, It’s a Knockout, cage football, inflatables, water games… and more!

Art Zone is on in the HUB most days and everyone is welcome, though children under 7 will need to be supervised by an adult.

Don’t rush off to bed after the meeting. Grab something delicious from The Diner and stick around to enjoy the evening entertainment in The HUB.

Food & Drink

Post-bible study coffee at Oasis Cafe? Your favourite sweets at the Tuck Shop? There’s plenty to get your teeth into this year. The Diner also serves the best chips you’ve ever tasted, as well as pizza, donner kebabs and burgers!

For those who have chosen to be Catered for, your main meals will be freshly cooked and served in the Dining Area within the Hub. If you choose to Self-Cater you can also buy food in the Dining Area on a meal-by-meal basis that you are free to eat in or take away.

The Hub

The Hub is the community meeting point. Here you can relax, play games, unwind, drink coffee, and enjoy the great range of food. After the evening meetings there we organise a whole host of entertainment such as tug-of-war, party games, movie night, open mic nights, silent disco, and Pointless quiz night!

Local Area

Teeside Retail Park is just 15 minutes drive and here you can enjoy the shops, leisure facilities, restaurants, Hollywood Bowl and Showcase Cinema. For those who love the sea, Saltburn by the Sea is definitely worth a visit with its fantastic 8 mile stretch of golden sands. There is lots to explore!

You may want to choose the Self-Catered option at Elim Festival. You can come with your family, as a couple or by yourself. Coming self-catered gives you the flexibility to eat what, when and how you want but still enjoy all festival meetings and activities.

There are a number of gathered lunch and evening meals where we light up a barbecue and you can bring your food to slowly sizzle whilst you meet friends old & new. We have a self-catering pastoral team available to settle you in to the festival and to be around during the week to assist if you need them. Whether it’s a bit of information or chat or prayer, they are here for you. We’re looking forwards to meeting you.
